How long is an appointment?

Most visits run about an hour. That's deliberate — long enough to do the scan or the drip, answer the question you were embarrassed to ask, and not have you watching the clock. Ultrasound and IV appointments sit at the longer end.

What types of ultrasounds do you offer?

Early pregnancy confirmation, 3D/4D imaging, and gender determination starting as early as six weeks, all in a comfortable, calming environment with high-quality imaging.

Are ultrasounds safe? Do they use radiation?

Accepted Answer

No radiation. An ultrasound builds its image from sound waves — the same technology used throughout routine prenatal care. That's equally true of 2D, 3D, 4D and 5D: the difference between them is how the sound data is rendered on screen, not how much energy is involved. It's one of the questions we're asked most, and it's a good one to ask.

When should I book a 3D/4D scan?

Between 28 and 33 weeks is when facial features image best. Prints and a digital copy are included. A 2D reassurance scan can be done from about 7 weeks.

How does gender determination work at 6 weeks?

We use the SneakPeek Clinical Early Fetal Sex DNA Test, a safe and quick blood test that can be taken as early as 6 weeks with 99.9% accuracy. Results come back the next day.

What are the benefits of IV therapy during pregnancy?

What is the Night Nurse Program?

Registered Nurses for 8-hour overnight shifts in your home, available from day one. It runs through the Doula Program and is booked separately from studio visits.

Is there a consult before doula or night nurse care?

Yes. Doula and Night Nurse care starts with a consultation — a video call with one of our nurses to work out what kind of support you actually need. Most families hear back the next day, and if it's a fit we send the paperwork the same day.

How can I pay for doula or night nurse care?

Carrot Fertility and Maven are family-benefit programs some employers provide, and both can be used with us — clients have come to us through GM, Chrysler and CVS plans. If you don't have either, Affirm lets you pay over time. And you can always pay out of pocket.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently our services are self-pay only, but we provide detailed receipts you can submit to your insurance provider or your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement.
