We cut the ribbon on our second studio. Here's the film — and what it actually means to have ultrasound, IV therapy, doula care, classes and postpartum support under one roof.
For years the answer to “who is looking after me?” during pregnancy was a shrug and a fifteen-minute appointment every four weeks. Obstetrics watches the pregnancy. Almost nobody was watching the person having it.
The Pregnancy Bar exists to close that gap. Birmingham has been doing exactly that since we opened — and now there are two of us: our doors in Northville are officially open.
Watch the film
Opening day in Northville, start to finish. Take a look at the space before you walk into it.
What is actually here
Two studios — Birmingham and Northville — offering the same care under one roof: 2D, 3D, 4D and 5D ultrasound, gender determination, nurse-administered IV drip therapy and booster shots, prenatal massage and chiropractic care, lactation support, and postpartum recovery.
Alongside the clinical side: prenatal Pilates and prenatal yoga classes, CPR and birthing workshops, private birth-plan sessions, and our doula program — led by a licensed nurse-midwife and supported by labor and delivery nurses.
Nurse-midwife led, and that is the whole point
Every service here is designed and overseen by clinicians who have spent their careers in labor and delivery. That is not a marketing line; it is the reason a drip is reviewed before it is hung, the reason our doulas can read a fetal monitor, and the reason our clients' C-section rate sits below 10%.
We call it taking your nurse home with you.
Come see it
If you are not sure where to start, our team will walk you through it — or take the two-minute quiz and we will point you somewhere sensible.
